Its focus is clearly defined: a bidirectional bridge between CalDAV servers and Google Calendar or Microsoft 365. Tested servers, per its own statements, include Nextcloud, SOGo, Radicale, Baïkal, Synology, Posteo, mailbox.org and Infomaniak. Sync runs via webhooks and CTag polling within seconds (1–2 seconds from cloud to CalDAV), covering the last 90 days plus all future events. Hosting is at Hetzner in Nuremberg, data stays in the EU, and a DPA is linked on the site. Pricing: a free plan with 1 connection and hourly sync, Solo at €2/month with second-level sync, Pro from €5/month (5 connections) up to €11/month (15 connections), with a 14-day trial and no credit card required.

A CalDAV specialist for self-hosters

If you run Nextcloud, Radicale, Baïkal, SOGo or a Synology and want those calendars connected to Google or Microsoft 365, you'll find a tool built and tested for exactly that. For this scenario, CalDAVconnect is honestly strong.

German company, Hetzner, DPA – like us

Mediakreativ UG from Allstedt, hosting at Hetzner in Nuremberg, EU-only data processing and a DPA on the website. That's the same compliance foundation as Kalender Sync – nothing for us to criticise here.

Very fast sync

1–2 seconds from Google/Microsoft to the CalDAV server, on average 7–8 seconds back – via webhooks and CTag polling instead of full calendar scans. A technically clean solution.

Fair, transparent pricing

A permanent free plan (hourly sync), Solo at €2/month and Pro tiers up to 15 connections. If all you need is a CalDAV bridge, you pay very little here.

Where Kalender Sync wins

More providers without your own server: iCloud, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org, kSuite

CalDAVconnect bridges CalDAV servers with Google and Microsoft 365 – Apple iCloud, GMX and WEB.DE don't appear in its provider list. Kalender Sync connects Apple iCloud, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org and Infomaniak kSuite directly, plus generic CalDAV and iCal feeds. The German consumer providers GMX and WEB.DE in particular are connected directly by hardly any other tool.

Three visibility levels per sync

CalDAVconnect mirrors calendars in full – per-connection control over the level of detail is not documented on its website. With Kalender Sync you decide per synchronisation whether „Busy only", „Title + time" or full details are transferred – including custom display names for blocked slots.
