What can Notion Calendar do?

Notion Calendar (formerly Cron) is the free calendar app from Notion Labs Inc. in San Francisco – available for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android and tightly integrated with the Notion workspace. It combines multiple Google, Apple iCloud and, since late June 2026, Outlook/Microsoft 365 accounts in one unified view. On top of that come scheduling links with availability checking and a blocking feature: events from one account can be written as blockers into another connected account – either as „Busy" or with full details, optionally automatically for all events of a calendar. What it doesn't offer: CalDAV or iCal connections, finer visibility levels, or sharing into other people's calendars.

Completely free and beautifully built

Notion Calendar costs nothing and is one of the best-designed calendar apps around – fast, keyboard-first, with time-zone support and direct links to Notion databases and documents.

Multi-account view including Outlook

Multiple Google, iCloud and – since June 2026 – Outlook/M365 accounts appear side by side in one view. For a daily overview of all your own accounts, that's strong – without paying a cent.

Blocking that writes real events

The blocking feature actually creates events in the destination calendar – so colleagues see the slot as busy natively, not just inside the app. Per block you choose „Busy" or full details, and entire calendars can be blocked automatically. For the simple personal-to-work case, that's solid.

Seamless in the Notion ecosystem

If you already work in Notion, you get events, documents and meeting notes in one place. As a calendar front-end for Notion teams, the integration is unmatched.

Three visibility levels instead of all-or-nothing

Notion Calendar's blocking knows only two states: „Busy" or full details. Kalender Sync offers three levels per synchronisation – „Busy" only, „Title + time" or full details – plus custom display names for blocked slots (e.g. „Private", „Booked externally"). The middle level, „Title + time", is often exactly what you want day to day.
