What can Motion do?

Motion (usemotion.com) is a US-based AI work platform that has evolved from an AI calendar into a self-declared „SuperApp": automatic task scheduling, project management with Gantt charts and capacity planning, a meeting assistant, docs and, most recently, pre-built „AI Employees" for sales, support or marketing. The core: Motion automatically schedules your tasks into free slots in your calendar and replans in real time when things change. To do that, it reads the free/busy times of connected Google, Outlook and iCloud accounts. Events and tasks from Motion are synced with the connected calendars – tasks only with Google and Outlook, though; with iCloud only events appear. A feature that mirrors events or busy blocks between your calendars, however, isn't described in Motion's help center. Pricing starts with „Pro AI" at $19 per user/month (monthly; 33% cheaper annually) with an AI-credit allowance, „Business AI" costs $29 per user/month; there's a 7-day trial but no permanent free plan.

Motion's core magic is real: tasks with deadlines and priorities land automatically in free calendar slots, and when something comes up, the AI replans the rest of your day. For people with overflowing task lists, that's a genuine productivity lever.
A full project suite instead of a single tool
Project management with Gantt charts and capacity planning, meeting notes, docs and AI agents – for teams, Motion can potentially replace several tools at once. If you're after that breadth, you get a lot here.
