Cursor
Connect Cursor to all your calendars
Kalender Sync connects Cursor to all your calendars: Outlook, Google, Apple, GMX, WEB.DE and more. One entry in your MCP config is all it takes. The agent then finds free time, plans your day and books events while you keep working on your code.
Reaches these calendars
Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, after creating the key in the app:
{
"mcpServers": {
"kalender-sync": {
"url": "https://app.kalender-sync.de/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ksa_…" }
}
}
} Create an account and connect calendars
Sign up for Kalender Sync and connect the calendars Cursor should know about. The first seven days include every feature, no credit card needed.
Create the access and key
In the app, open AI assistant, then Connect the assistant and Something else. You pick the calendars and their detail level, and Create key gives you your access key. It is shown only once, so treat it like a password.
Add it to Cursor
Put the address and the key into your MCP config. The key belongs in that file, never in a chat. From then on the agent knows your schedule across every account.

Outlook, Google, Apple, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org, kSuite, Posteo and STRATO come together in Kalender Sync. Your config holds a single entry, and credentials for the individual accounts never end up there.
From agent to assistant
The agent that already works on your project now also knows when your next call is. It blocks time for the review and suggests slots without you leaving the editor.
You decide what it can see
For each calendar you choose between busy only, title and time, or full details. Whatever you don't share does not exist for Cursor, and your code stays out of it anyway.
And you decide what it may do
Whether it only looks or also books is up to you, per calendar. Every call lands in the access log, and one click in the app revokes the key. Hosted in Germany.

How to grant calendars to Cursor.
The video walks through it with Claude. Choosing calendars and detail levels works exactly the same for Cursor, except that you finish by creating a key instead of signing in through the browser.

Examples
What you can ask Cursor
You stay in the chat next to your code and ask in plain sentences. Cursor looks into the calendars you have shared.
See your day
Before you dive into a task, it pays to check how much of the day is really still yours.
- What's left on my plate today?
- When is my next meeting?
- How busy is Thursday?
Find time in one block
Hard problems need a real block, not the leftovers between two calls.
- Where do I have two quiet hours this week?
- When am I free tomorrow?
- Find a window for the release.
Book events
If you allowed creating events, the event ends up in the right calendar.
- Move the sync to 3pm.
- Block two hours for the review.
- Keep Friday clear for me.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Cursor
Why does Cursor need a key?
Cursor signs in with an access key you create in the app. It only covers the calendars and permissions you gave this access.
The key belongs in your MCP config, never in a chat or a repository. When you no longer need it, revoke it in the app and it stops working immediately.
Guide for agentsWhat can Cursor do in my calendar?
You decide per calendar. There is one switch for reading and one for creating events. When you grant access, all available permissions start switched on, and you turn creating off for any calendar where you don't want it.
Every call is logged with a timestamp, so afterwards you can check calmly what actually happened. You can view the log from Basic (7 days); Professional keeps 90 days with CSV export.
What the assistant may doDoes Kalender Sync see my code?
No. Only calendar data runs through this connection. Files and repository contents never reach us.
All we receive is what you ask to have booked, essentially the title, time and length of an event.
What does it cost?
Reading and creating events work on every plan, including the free one. A monthly allowance sets how much the agent can query, and it is much larger on Basic from €5 a month.
You can try everything for seven days, with no credit card and nothing that renews on its own.
See plansConnect your other agents too
Kalender Sync sits behind an open interface, so whatever else you use reaches the same calendars in the same way. Every agent gets its own access with its own visibility, and you can end each one separately.
