A calendar sharing is not calendar access. Instead of opening up your account, you send an invitation: the other person adds the sharing to their own calendar, and from then on your availability appears there and stays up to date automatically. How much arrives is your call, per sharing, from “busy” to full details. The Free plan includes one sharing, Basic five, Business unlimited.
Share a calendar with someone
How Kalender Sync helps you share calendars easily
Right inside the recipient's calendar
The person is invited and adds the sharing to their own calendar. Your availability appears there and stays current automatically.
Share availability, not calendar access
The other person only sees when you're free or busy – not what's actually in your calendar. You keep control at all times.
You decide what's visible
Set whether only "busy" or details are shared – and which label blocked slots show with.
Always current in real time
When you change an appointment, the sharing updates automatically – in real time on Basic and up, every 30 minutes on Free. No re-sending, no stale views.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the recipient see?
That is up to you. The default shows only when you are busy, with no titles, notes or attendees. Optionally you release “title + time” or full details. You can also give blocked times a name of your own, so the other calendar reads “Unavailable” rather than the real title.
How is this different from a shared calendar link or an iCal subscription?
An iCal subscription is one-way and slow; many calendar apps refresh it hourly at best. A sharing instead lands as a regular entry in the target calendar and stays current on its own. And you control the level of detail rather than releasing an entire calendar wholesale.
Can I bundle several of my calendars into one sharing?
Yes, that is the point of it. Rather than sending three links, you combine your calendars into a single availability picture. For the other side it is one entry in their calendar, no matter how many sources your appointments come from.
How many sharings are included?
One on the Free plan, three on Basic, unlimited on Professional. Every new account starts with 7 days of Professional without a credit card, so you can find out how many you actually need before deciding.
Does the other person need Kalender Sync too?
Not to receive one. They are invited and add the sharing to their own calendar, whether that sits with Google, Microsoft or Apple. They only need an account of their own once they want to sync calendars or share availability themselves.
