Grok
Connect Grok to all your calendars
Kalender Sync connects Grok Build to all your calendars: Outlook, Google, Apple, GMX, WEB.DE and more. One command in the terminal is all it takes. The agent then finds free time and books events while you keep working.
Reaches these calendars
Run in your terminal, after creating the key in the app:
grok mcp add --transport http kalender-sync https://app.kalender-sync.de/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer ksa_…" Create an account and connect calendars
Sign up for Kalender Sync and connect the calendars Grok should know about. The first seven days include every feature, no credit card needed.
Create the access and key
In the app, open AI assistant, then Connect the assistant and Something else. You pick the calendars and their detail level, and Create key gives you your access key. It is shown only once, so treat it like a password.
Add the server to Grok Build
Run the command above with your key. Use grok mcp list to check the server is there. From then on the agent knows your schedule across every account.
grok mcp list Every calendar on one connection
Outlook, Google, Apple, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org, kSuite, Posteo and STRATO come together in Kalender Sync. Grok needs a single entry, and credentials for the individual accounts never end up there.
From agent to assistant
The agent that already works for you in the terminal now also knows when you have time. It finds free blocks and books events without you switching windows.
You decide what it can see
For each calendar you choose between busy only, title and time, or full details. Whatever you don't share does not exist for Grok.
And you decide what it may do
Whether it only looks or also books is up to you, per calendar. Every call lands in the access log, and one click in the app revokes the key. Hosted in Germany.

How to grant calendars to Grok.
The video walks through it with Claude. Choosing calendars and detail levels works exactly the same for Grok, except that you finish by creating a key instead of signing in through the browser.

Examples
What you can ask Grok
You stay in the session you are already working in and ask in plain sentences. Grok looks into the calendars you have shared.
See your day
Before you get stuck in, it pays to check how much of the day is still yours.
- What's left on my plate today?
- When is my next meeting?
- How busy is Thursday?
Find time in one block
Focused work needs a real block, not a gap.
- Where do I have two quiet hours this week?
- When am I free tomorrow?
- Find a window for the release.
Book events
If you allowed creating events, the event ends up in the right calendar.
- Move the call to 2pm.
- Block two hours for deep work.
- Keep Friday clear for me.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Grok
Does this work in the Grok app?
Not at the moment. Kalender Sync is not in the Grok app's plugin directory, so the way in is Grok Build in the terminal.
There you add the server with one command, and Grok uses your calendars like any other tool.
Why does Grok need a key?
Grok Build signs in with an access key you create in the app. It only covers the calendars and permissions you gave this access.
The key belongs in the command or config, never in a chat. When you no longer need it, revoke it in the app and it stops working immediately.
Guide for agentsWhat can Grok do in my calendar?
You decide per calendar. There is one switch for reading and one for creating events. When you grant access, all available permissions start switched on, and you turn creating off for any calendar where you don't want it.
Every call is logged with a timestamp, so afterwards you can check calmly what actually happened. You can view the log from Basic (7 days); Professional keeps 90 days with CSV export.
What the assistant may doWhat does it cost?
Reading and creating events work on every plan, including the free one. A monthly allowance sets how much the agent can query, and it is much larger on Basic from €5 a month.
You can try everything for seven days, with no credit card and nothing that renews on its own.

Kalender Sync sits behind an open interface, so whatever else you use reaches the same calendars in the same way. Every agent gets its own access with its own visibility, and you can end each one separately.
