Morgen is the calendar and planning app from Morgen AG in Zurich – available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android and the web. It combines multiple accounts (Google, Outlook/M365, iCloud, Exchange, CalDAV) in one view, integrates task managers like Todoist, Notion or Linear, time-blocks tasks with an AI planner and offers scheduling links. For cross-account syncing there's „Calendar Propagation": a server-side workflow that writes events from one calendar into another as anonymous „Busy" blockers – once a day at 6 pm, 14 days ahead, one direction per workflow, for Google, Outlook, iCloud and Fastmail. There is no free plan: the „Individuals" plan costs $15/month billed annually ($30 monthly), with a 14-day trial; new is a Team plan at $10 per seat per month billed annually ($25 monthly), minimum 2 seats.
Where Morgen is strong
- A strong all-in-one calendar app
- Multi-account view on every platform including Linux, task integrations from Todoist to Linear, an AI planner and scheduling links – if you want calendar and tasks in a single app, Morgen offers one of the most complete packages on the market.
- Privacy on equal footing – honestly
- Morgen is a Swiss AG, hosts in Switzerland and the EU and doesn't persist your calendar data in the cloud – its servers act as a proxy. To be honest, with one caveat: per its privacy policy, the US provider Temporal processes event details for workflows, and some other partners are based in the US. A blanket GDPR argument against Morgen would still be unfair.
- A genuine server-side busy-blocker
- Calendar Propagation runs on Morgen's servers and creates real blockers in the destination calendar – so it works even when the app isn't open. For the simple „personal blocks work" case, that's a solid automation.
- Broad provider support in the view
- Google, Outlook, iCloud, Exchange and CalDAV providers can all be combined in the app – for the pure calendar view, Morgen covers a lot of ground.
