A quick note from the two of us – Paul & Julius, the people behind Kalender Sync. We’ve spent the last few weeks deep in the engine room and came back out with a completely overhauled Kalender Sync. A fresh look, a cleaner interface and a few features you genuinely asked for. 😄
The nice part: everything got simpler – and at the same time the tool can now do a lot more. Here’s the rundown.
Two-way sync is here 🔁
Long our most-requested feature, now built in: real bidirectional sync. Changes flow in both directions, not just one way. And you decide per connection whether a sync runs one- or two-way. Set it up once and everything stays in sync on its own.
You decide what’s visible – in three levels
This is our favourite part, and honestly where we differ from almost everyone else. You set, per sync, how much reaches the other side:
- Busy only – maximally data-minimal, perfect for tax advisors, law firms, healthcare professionals or simply private appointments.
- Title + time – the middle tier, when a bit of context helps.
- Full details – when everything should come across.
So Free/Busy is just the data-minimal default, not the ceiling. You have the choice – including a custom display name for blocked slots (“Private”, “Booked externally”, whatever fits).
Share live into other calendars
Kalender Sync doesn’t just keep your own accounts in sync. You can also embed your availability live into another person’s calendar by invitation – they accept, and from then on everything stays synced automatically. No ICS feed, no manual importing, no fiddling.
New login – and don’t worry about your account
You can now simply sign in with Google or Microsoft or set a password. For everyone already on board: just sign in with exactly the email address you last used – whether via Google, Microsoft, password reset or login code. As long as the email matches, all your existing connections are right there. Nothing is lost.
Fresh look + try everything for 14 days
The whole interface is new, clearer and faster. And if you haven’t tried Kalender Sync yet: you can test all features for 14 days (the full Business scope) for free – no credit card. After that it rolls into the permanently free Free plan automatically if you do nothing.
And you help decide what comes next
We keep building – and you help steer. In the voting board right inside the app you can vote for new features and submit your own ideas. Tell us what you’re missing.
All of this is, of course, still 100% GDPR-compliant, hosted at Hetzner in Germany, with a DPA on request. That never changes.
